Renowned human rights activist Medea Benjamin, cofounder of Code Pink, author of Drone Warfare: Killing by Remote Control (2012) and Inside Iran: The Real History and Politics of the Islamic Republic of Iran (2018), will discuss the history of drone warfare and the current civil war in Yemen. The event will include a Q&A session moderated by Dr. Rick Halpern, Director of Southern Methodist University’s Embrey Human Rights Program.

The exhibition will feature work from local, DFW artists in addition to the Drones Quilt Project, a collaborative, international project that commemorates innocent victims of drone strikes throughout the Middle East.
